About me
My name is Frank Hoffmann and I am a 28 year-old student of International Business at Hanze University Groningen (the Netherlands) where I finished my undergraduate studies this summer. Aiming at a Major in Finance and Accounting, I am particularly interested in the areas of Financial Research.
Through different university projects and group works I have come into first contact with the analysis of financial figures for corporations – however I have limited practical experiences for the time being.
In order to test my theoretical interests I worked within the Risk Management department of Volkswagen Financial Service in Sweden during the summer brake of 2006. There I could gain new views which I would like to enhance in further practical work.
Since my 10th birthday I hold a small stock portfolio which may also explain my fondness of investment analysis.
My most recent experience working in the Financial Research area is my 3rd year internship with VW Credit Inc. USA. I gained fundamental Risk management understanding including conducting tax reconciliations, involvement in the Risk pricing model development, gained knowledge about credit underwriting, participate in commercial credit lending training, introducing Crowe Chizek and daily and weekly reporting.
Regular usage of Microsoft Office and other Computer applications improved my knowledge to a higher level
